Our
Research training initially focuses on Philosophy of
Research, Research Methods, Research themes, Skills
and Practices.
After
that, a student may identify a research topic and produce
a thesis proposal. If the proposal is accepted, the
student will be enrolled for the thesis component.
The
thesis, on completion, will be examined by Internal
and External examiners. We expect the research work
to be meaningful to the wider research community, and
to serve as a venue for on-going conversation relevant
to the Apostolic functions of Faith communities in todays
wider society.
Students
are encouraged to develop in-depth knowledge in the
areas of research selected by them. Students involve
in research review, seminars and also participate in
the college's research activities.
All
these happen from an overall basis where the student
has developed the requisite knowledge-base and research
skills relevant for graduate studies and field practice.
