Participation and License


The Joint Council of Field Development Practitioners is currently considering individuals and agencies who seek to be certified as

Field Practitioners and Executive Field Practitioners

in fields/areas engaged by individuals or agencies.

In considering such a certification, the following portfolios will be looked at:

• Creative Field Work (including Pioneering Work and Innovation)
• Field Work Management
• Project Development
• Integrated Field Development
• Resource Mobilisation
• Applied Research, and
• Collaboration

The processes involve

• assessing a candidate's current field engagements
• defining the career or investment goals of the individual or the agency
• referring from a refined development practices, and
• correlating the above to detail and award a professional status or a license.
